The best skin care starts with cleansing the skin. And, did you know that properly cleansing the skin also helps prevent the aging of the skin?
Radiant skin starts with cleansing the skin. However, there is also such a thing as "incorrect cleansing". For example, you rub your face too hard or you treat the skin with the wrong products, which are not suitable for your skin type. When that happens, the protective layer of the skin might get damaged. The step of cleansing in the beauty routine is therefore one of the most important steps of a healthy looking and feeling skin. Doing this well, makes it easier for the skin to absorb the nutrients from creams and serums.
Moist skin cleans easily
First of all, it is important to moisten the skin before starting with the process of cleaning. Because when the skin is moist, the face cleaner can easily be massaged into the skin and remove the dirt.
Mild, milder, mildest
Choose cleansing products that are gentle for the skin, to maintain the skin's balance and not to damage the skin's barrier. When the skin is damaged, unevenness has the chance to occur. A mild face care retains the healthy shine of your skin.
Lukewarm water for cleaning
Too hot water can dry out the skin. Therefore, always use lukewarm water to rinse your skin with; this is calmer and more caring for the skin than very cold or hot water.
By using a face cleaner that is easy to rinse off with water, the use of a cotton pad can be omitted. A cotton pad often just wipes out dirt and tallow, which is present on the face, and therefore does not have the desired cleansing effect.
Proper cleansing of the skin often requires two rounds. The first time, the face cleaner can remove the coarse filth, makeup and other superficial dirt of the skin. The second round provides a deeper cleansing, whereby residual skin oil and other (surplus) skin residues can be removed and the skin is conditioned.
